Player of the Year Rules, Regulations and Guidelines

In order to keep the award equal and fair to all participants, the following guidelines have been established

Description

Like the CSGA or, Met or FedEx Cup Award, the HSR Player of the Year Award was designed to allow players to compete for points over the course of the season. The award has two categories, Gross and Net. Player accumulate points over the season by placing in different events. The majors are ranked higher in precedence and award more points. At the end of the season, the player with the most points wins the award. The award is meant to truly see who is the best of the Gross and net players at HSR Golf Club. Although a competitive award, the player of the year is mean to be fun as well and winners should not be judged by their handicap or ablility to be at a higher level than their peers.
