Smith Richardson Beautification Program
The H. Smith Richardson Men's Golf Club is organizing and administering a Business Sponsored Landscape Program designed to beautify several prominent areas on and around the Golf Course. The basic concept is similar to sponsored landscaped areas along the highways and byways of many of our towns and cities. The program has been approved by the Town of Fairfield Golf Commission and the proposed areas and the planting plans have been reviewed and approved by the golf course superintendent.
We are soliciting businesses active in the Town of Fairfield who are interested in participating in programs and activities that improve our community and enhance the quality of life. Your participation would involve sponsoring one of the areas at an amount that covers the cost of the Landscaping plus the annual maintenance of that area for three seasons (2004, 2005, and 2006). A list of the planting areas, along with landscape plans and the sponsorship price are available below. Additionally, as the initial sponsor, you would have the option to continue your participation in the program by underwriting the area maintenance expense for an additional 3 or 5 years beyond the 2006 season. A tastefully designed professional design will be placed in each of the planted areas acknowledging the Sponsorship. Additionally, we will submit press releases to all of the local newspapers to announce the project and each of the sponsors participation. For those of you who are unfamiliar with our town's wonderful municipal golf course, you should know it is highly regarded throughout the state and more than 50,000 rounds are played in a typical season.
We are seeking sponsorships on a first come, first serve basis. You can reserve an area by your phone commitment followed up with a confirming letter and check playable to the H Smith Richardson Golf Club.
Thank You for your interest and support.
